  • World War Il has a tremendous effect on badminton’s development. The development almost stopped for some time because of a shortage of material. The tournaments were supposed to delay, and the first badminton season occurred in 1948. Similarly, in the women’s season of matches, there was a delay till 1956 because of War disasters.
  • 1977 was the year of the official Badminton World Championships, held under the supervision of the Badminton World Federation.

Denmark is in the second position after England. Denmark has produced the strongest players in badminton. Not only Denmark but China also played a significant role in this sport. It has won many World badminton championships in its history. All five World Champions was the title awarded to China in 2010 and 2011. So, on an international platform, Asia has been successful and dominant in badminton history.
